Inspired by his travels to the polar regions, David will paint an iceberg, sharing essential watercolour techniques and the use of colour and light to create dramatic movement and illusion of space.

During this unique opportunity to virtually visit the artist’s studio, setups for working large watercolours and plein air kits will be discussed. An entertaining short video of recent encounters with polar bears and penguins will start the evening and give context to the watercolour demonstration.

A recording of the demonstration will be available for paid ticket holders to review at their leisure, up until June 12, 2022.
