Memories of first glimpse of the great towers. I stopped and painted the peaks from afar  in case the clouds might cover the view before  we  got closer.  While observing light  and shadows move across  the landscape, excitement builds for our approach  to the towers  base the following day.  Torres del Paine National Park,  Chilean  Patagonia.
